There is no downtime or any long recovery process. You shouldn’t wash or apply products for 6+hours. You may experience significant swelling and mild redness, discomfort and tightness from the injections for 1-2 days, which can be managed with an analgesic like Tylenol. This resolves within 48 hours , is mild, and is normal. It is best to avoid anti- inflammatory medications, NSAIDS, corticosteroids, aspirin, Advil, Aleve, Ibuprofen for at least 1 week following treatment. Avoid sauna use and vigorous exercise for 24 hours after treatment. Sexual activity is usually comfortable the day after treatment.
